The Malaysian Ringgit hit record high against the US Dollar two days ago. It touched 2.9608, the strongest level since September 1997. A quick recap, at that time Malaysia pegged their currency at 3.8000. When the pegging was finally removed in July 2005, it went strong at 3.1600. Will it go back to circa 2.5000 like those time in the mid 90s?
Hope so, meanwhile get ready your shopping bags. Thanks to Obama with his good money printing machine!
